Save the Children, a global leader in advocating for child welfare, needed a digital transformation to manage their vast library of child rights materials effectively. Our team at Swace took on both the development and design of this crucial platform. We engineered a robust system that not only manages complex data efficiently but also integrates seamlessly with modern cloud technologies. We focused on creating a user-centric interface and conducted extensive user research to ensure the platform’s navigation was intuitive and its functionalities were advanced, yet accessible. We took on the exciting challenge of giving Save the Children’s Resource Centre a complete makeover. On the tech side, we built a fresh document management system using React and GatsbyJS for a smooth, responsive front end, and powered it with PHP, MySQL, and Elasticsearch on the backend. We made sure it was hosted securely on AWS and set up for easy updates. For the design, we created an interface that’s not just user-friendly but also visually appealing. We focused on making it intuitive and accessible, with great search features and a modern look that works well for a global audience.
